Identity: Students DO feel the need to hide their Jewish identity and DO NOT feel safe showing their support for Israel on campus. Policy: Multiple BDS resolutions have been presented and passed. SJP is present on campus. F AFTER OCTOBER 7: • Notable incidents: o The Soldierʼs Arch Memorial at Brown University was vandalized with chalkings of “Free Palestine” and a Palestinian flag. o Despite substantial evidence of wrongdoing, Brown has refused to suspend SJP from its campus. *Cornell University Protection: Students DO NOT feel that the school administration takes incidents of antisemitism on campus seriously. F AFTER OCTOBER 7: • Notable incidents: o Cornell is among several schools that are currently under investigation by the Department of Education over allegations of antisemitism and islamophobia. o The FBI is also investigating a possible hate crime at Cornell where a student was arrested for threatening Jewish people online. 7
